In October 2023, the new Director of the Digital Credentials Consortium (DCC) asked us if we could help with storytelling and communications around the DCC's work in Verifiable Credentials with the overall aim of increasing adoption of their technologies. We kicked off the project with a couple rounds of research to help the DCC streamline messaging, create communication assets and resources and find ways to pull the community and members together.
Hosted at MIT, the Digital Credentials Consortium (DCC) “is advancing the use and understanding of portable, verifiable digital credentials in higher education through open source development and leadership, research, and advocacy.” Members of the DCC are “innovative universities, revolutionizing how academic achievements are issued, managed, verified, and valued. We’re enhancing accessibility, authenticity, and flexibility of credentialing for learners and organisations alike.” Learn more about the DCC.
