So we have a new client, excellent news! Here's how you can help your co-op colleagues stay up to date and in sync. Following this process will help us all be less stressed, more in tune and able to support each other and plan :)
You sent a proposal and the client accepted it? Super, so now the client needs to have submitted a Purchase Order of some sort. Or they sent an email that says "Great, let's get started". The business needs to have a WRITTEN record of the client's acceptance of the proposal.
Schedule a 15–30 minute meeting with all members. During this meeting you will collectively:
"Why collectively?" you ask. So that everyone at the co-op knows about the project, what there is to do and who is going to be working on it. This way everyone feels ownership over our work, and we gain important context. We think this meeting can be super short and efficient, as each member can take one of the set up tasks while the Project Lead gives a bit of an overview.
Ping the project channel with links to the project folder and board so that anyone who was unable to attend the kickoff call knows where stuff is.
Anyone working on the project should read the proposal we sent.
To create some consistency in how we run the client kickoff meeting, we made a template for the agenda.
